Driver and Passenger + Remoter will not lock TL
Ever since I had bought the car a few weeks ago, the key fob would not lock the car, neither will the driver and passenger side locking buttons inside. Because of this someone went and stole the NAVI disc out of the back of my car...All three buttons will unlock the car, just not lock....If I place the key in the door, it will lock all four doors (as I found out today). I was thinking/hoping it was the door lock actuator and went ahead and purchased one online, that came in today. Just replaced the driver side locking actuator 5 minutes ago but the problem still persists...Help??? Thanks!

Thanks for the quick response 01acls!! Tried what you suggested hoping it might work, but it did not. My key fob works partially, I can unlock, open the trunk fine, I just cannot lock the car with the button on the remote, nor can I lock the doors using the power door lock switch on the door panels next to the handle on either driver or passenger sides...I can unlock the doors using the switch, just not lock. Only way I can lock the car currently is by turning the key in the door, or by manually locking each door by pushing down the tabs at the top of the door panel.

Since the doors lock w the key then you can discount the actuators.
The fob is transmitting and receiver is receiving so discount those.
Assuming the alarm is ok.
Only two things left.
1. Lock ecm.
2. Is multiplex.
My guess is #1.

So I just went outside to try turning the key in the door again, turns out I was mistaken. Turning the key only locks the driver side door, none of the other doors. So the only way I can fully lock the car is just by pushing down each pillar. Still think it could be the lock ecm?

You need to turn the key twice to lock all doors.
Its a tough call between the door multiplex and the under dash multiplex. After researching a little more the door one tell the under dash one to lock the other doors. So it if the door is not working then the others wont either.
Try supplying a ground to the following pics. If the locks work then the switch is bad. If not then under dash multiplex is defective.

could be the door lock actuator too.

Replaced the actuator, doubt I got a faulty one that has the exact same problems. Gonna take it to the stealership so they can take a look at the multiplex, electrical components are not my strong suit
