Then Polish and Wax the area.

Yeah it wont ruin the paint, wax it up nice when you are done and you will never know where the emblems were when you are done.

Well guys i took the advice of using goo gone and scrubing with my nail which took the tape off but this morning i noticed the paint had scratches and a shadow of the emblems i guess from the sun and i did wax it but its still there.

use some kind of polish or scratch remover. I used some Scratch X stuff after goo gone and rubbed the area well with that. Then I waxed it and it turned out perfect. And I did it all by hand so it took a while but it turned out nice

yeah.. the shadow of the emblems is because it was protected from the elements.. it may take a few seasons to match if ever..

All you need is a hairdryer on low setting for 30 or so seconds...it will peel off in your hands.

I took mine off about 2 months ago about a month after I got my car and waxed it after and now I can not even tell where the emblems were before and mine were on since 04! What year is your car and what color is your car? Maybe some colors hide the fade better

I use what the autobody guys use, to remove the leftover adhesive. Eraser wheel on a drill or die grinder, carefully. Little bit of wax/grease remover solvent. Very, very light wet sand w/ high grit 2000-2500, then buff/polish.

Instant results, and no trace of the emblem, no slight outline ect.

i used a hair dryer and fingernails.. patience is the key to taking the residue out.. Especially since it's been there for a long time... This is why I took it out after the first year of owning the car =)
