Do you all get a strange whine noise when you lock your doors via the keyfob?

I don't remember it being it loud but tonight locking my doors it was noticably louder from about 5 feet away. No problems with the remote locking or unlocking btw.

Not a big deal just thought I would ask for peace-of-mind.

 

The whining noise is NOT normal and they say it's a sign that the actuator is about to go...

Mine made the sound a few times on the passenger door lock but I can't remember if it still does it LOL

 

^Yes, it sounds like a whine thanks because I couldn't find the right word to describe it.

That sucks...would warranty cover it?

 

yep actuator is failing it may last 10 more years or ten more min lol
mine has been doing it for probably 1.5 years
