door pocket-HELP

Need some ideas. Just bought a 2005 TL. Both front doors have a little pocket that you can pull open wider. pretty cool feature, but the person that owned it before appear to have kicked the door open when they were getting out of the car with their heels or something. So that part of the door is damaged. Can I buy just that part or do I have to buy the whole door panel? Any way to repair Passenger door is the worst and I stare it the whole time I'm driving.

You have to buy a whole new panel. I have the same problem on my passenger door, from what else, careless passengers lol

I'd see what I could find in salvage parts. Look locally, or Google "Acura used parts" and see what you can find. You might find a seller willing to sell you just the part you need, and in any case an interior door lining will be cheaper used than new.

I have the same problem as the leather wrapping seems thin. One of my few comps with the design...along with the boomerang hinge on the doors.
