TL & TSX: When you turn the engine off, but leave the radio playing and open the drivers door the warning chime starts up....I sometimes like to listen to the radio with the door open....I have asked the service manager and he says no way to deprogram that safety feature....does anyone know a way to deactivate this one feature?

 

you have to disconnect it at the ignition cylinder. there is a plug going to the ignition near where you inset the key. There is like a metal flap that covers the connector but there is enough room to stick a small flat head screwdriver in there. Give the screwdriver a twist while pulling on the connector and it will pop right out.
