Hi everyone i am new to this web site but read alot of threads on here before very helpful but now i have a problem of my own.

first off i have a 05 acura tl everything was fine before i went on vaction for a week and then when i came back my door locks started acting up. i press the unlock button on the key fob it unlocks the driver but when i press it the second it doesnt unlock all the others like it use to i tried relinking the keyfobs and nothing happen i tired a new dock lock accutator and still nothing but i can unlock the rest from the button inside and also the car is starting to lock it self as soon as i turn on the car and shut the door it will unlock and lock a few times by itself untill it just stays locked and thats when the car is in park so now i have to leave the window rolled down everything i get out of the car doesnt anyone know what this could be or has had this problem before and has a fix for it please help!!!

I know it sounds petty, but have you tried replacing the battery in the fob yet? Or have you tried your second set of keys/fob?

yea i tried the second fob and changed the batteries on both and still nothing

the problems definitely sound electrical, like a receiver issue. I.e. its sending out weird messages. You can try reseting your ECU through a series of events depending in what tranny tl you have (just do a such for ECU reset). If that doesnt work, try replacing the key less entry receiver. Also, have you or have you had anyone install anything recently ( especially electronic)? Hope you figure i

no i havent had anyone install anything in the car and how much would the keyless entry receiver cost? because i have no clue whats going like i said everything was fine before i left for a week then i came back thats when it started and no one drove it because i took the keys with me
