Door lock issue

So there is probably already a thread pertaining to this matter, but here are my specific details. So I'm having problems with my front passenger door lock. Sometimes, whether I'm using the key fob or the button on the door, the door won't lock/unlock. I can fool with it sometimes, pulling the lock thing by hand and it'll work sometimes. The main issue for me is that when I put it drive and take off, the door always locks, but won't unlock? I'm if anybody has had a problem similar to this, but any insight or help would be greatly appreciated. Btw this is my first post and I'm happy to be part of the community.

i have the same issue also, i think its the actuator because its a common thing on 3G TL's. i need to get mine replaced soon but it's a pain to get the door lining off, especially the screws with the rubber stopper on its very easy to strip. the 3 screws holding actuator assembly also needs to get torqued and is difficult to loosen.

My whole think is, why does it sometimes work using the key fob/door switch, but it always work when going into drive and parking?

They are rather cheap and pretty easy to replace. You may have one that is on its way out. I would change it out and if the problem persists you have a spare actuator or could sell it off.

I have the same issue with my car (07 TL TypeS). Not a DIY person so I just lock / unlock manually.
