Dome light supervision not working?

was wondering if anybody can help i install led on my side mirror ran it to the dome light supervision wire and constant 12v its been working fine for a long time
until the body shop cut the wire i ran through the door to take the door off to paint the car and now the dome supervision is not working when i unlock the car or open the door but when i turn on the map light mauanly with the button next to the sunroof button the lights comes on,
was wondering is there a fuse or a relay for the dome supervision?

Nope.

I'd check the wiring under the dash if I were you. Something probably got loose

It doesn't sound like it's wired to the dome supervision wire.

When you wire to the dome supervision wire (behind the fusebox), the overhead control shouldn't turn on and off the side mirror LED. The only case it would is if it was wired to a door trigger.

Can you verify that the negative wire from the LED is spliced into the dome supervision wire behind the fuse box?

Sounds like the button beside the sunroof is set to "off". Set it back to middle position and then the domes will come on automatically when you unlock your car.

In this pic it is set to "off". It's between the sunroof button and garage buttons.

yes the button is not switch to the off position its in the middle, when i switch the button on the dome lights comes on, then i switch it back to the middle position, it was working fine before until the body shop cut the wire i ran through the door for the side mirror led then when they put everything back and reconnect the wire the dome supervison is not working now when i unlock the car or open the door!

Didi you figure it out yet? I have the same issue. I can maually control the dome lights but they don't turn on when I open the door nor press on the key fob.

I’m having the same problem after my car was painted. The left side map light comes on intermittently when I open the door. What should I be looking for inside the door? The switch is in the jamb so I’m. It sure which part of the harness would be affected.
