I'd say to drop down the map light assembly and just simply unplug the thing. Why are you wanting to do this?

Pop the sunroof switch out with the feeler gauge. Disconnect the switch. Put 2 fingers in that hole and pull down with a little bit of force. Then, there are four 8MM bolts that hold the rest on. Disconnect the harnesses as necessary and you are done.

just have it fixed. pointless if you spent the money on a tl, why go away with all the cool bells and whistles.
you can always complain and complain to acura customer service to have a free hfl module installed free or little charge

mine quit working the other day. some of my voice controls don't work anymore. my handsfree link "phone" still works. so I'm taking mine in monday morning and having them troubleshoot to find out why its not working.

So, I'm not sure why you want to disconnect, but I was having a lot of trouble getting it to recognize any commands and people on the other end of phone calls kept telling me they couldn't hear me. Said I sounded like I was in a submarine. Dealer fixed it for me under warranty.
