Disconnected HFL, now there is no radio ?

My 07 TL-S also suffered from energy drain, and learned HFL could be one of the culprits so I disconnected it myself. After disconnecting it, everything seems fine except for the radio. Usually it prompt me to enter a 5 digit code but that is not even displaying, it just have no response entirely, even when pressing the radio on/off button. I tried connecting the HFL again but also no luck. Advice? Thanks.

Check any related fuses? Did you pull the battery to disconnect the HFL?

Get your battery tested under load.
It may be a near-dead battery that is causing your issue.

If the battery tests good, disconnect the cables for 30 minutes, then reconnect-- that should pull up the radio code entry prompt.

I haven't checked the fuse or unplug the battery, will do tomorrow. Never suspected those because it happens near the same time as when disconnecting HFL so thought it was caused radio failure. But Thanks regardless.

Shouldn't be the battery since it's only couple months old, and Will try unplugging the battery and update it when find out the result. Thanks.

if it not doing anything trying to disconnect the battery again and leave it a good minutes then reconnect it. Why not fix the HFL? either paying $240 for the new unit or doing baking in the oven will do the trick too. I love how mine pick up the phone so quick now.

I'd bet its the fuse as I think the one runs a couple of the electronics. Check that first.
