Discoloration of Mirror

I've had my '06 TL since June, and I noticed one day the mirror looked funny. The day before I had taken it to a self car wash and I used a pressure washer on it. That is the only thing I can think of what would cause this. Anyone have this problem as well? I plan on replacing the mirror, but want to make sure that I know what I did to cause this so I don't do it again.

Didn't think of that, although it was probably only on for an hour at most that day.

Do you know what causes it? Is it the heated mirror like was suggested?

its the heated mirror when there is nothing on it ... it gets so hot that it burns the mirror, make sure to only use it when there is ice or something on it and then turn it off immediately after its served its purpose
