Ding in door

I have a 2005 TL and i have a ding on the driver side door which is driving me crazy!! I got a couple of estimates with crazy numbers like $200-$250!! I think that's a bit steep to remove a small ding, no paint was removed thank god. And suggestions on who or where I can get this fixed for somewhat cheap?

I have a very small ding in my door as well with no paint being taken off. No matter where you go it will probably be at least 175.00 or more to have it fixed. And that depends if the can get their tool down to where they can push out the ding from the inside....so I am told. If someplace says the can fix it for 50.00......RUN.....lol.....they will probably do more damage than is already there.

I had a small door ding in my driver door that I had removed by a compnay called dent pros. It took him 5 minutes and $50 bucks and now it is perfect. He came to me. All He did was put the window down, stick a funny metal bar down in the door, and presto it was fixed. I mean IT IS PERFECT. Look in the yellow pages, there are a few different companies that do this type of repair. aka dent pro, dent wizard, ect.

Thanks, I've been told about the dent wizard and also told they would come to me with an estimate but that was false info. I will check out the yellow pages for other dent pro or paintless dent removal.

I have also had good experiences with dent pro. Have not used them for my TL yet, but have used them for other cars. I am pretty damn picky and I could not locate where the dent was after they finished. I think it was like $75 per dent when I had it done.

I've had a couple of door dings in my TL that weren't an accident. Why is it some people have to ding a new car just for kicks? Don't get me started on that though. I got both of them fixed and you can't tell where they were at after pretty easy too. I just took the car to the dealer and they had the car fixed for a charge of $90 for both dings. I first took the car to an autobody place and they quoted me at $900 + to fix the dings, no thanks. The dealer uses an auto body dent guy who really knows how to get into the nooks and cranny's of the TL without having to do major body repair. Good luck!

Now $90 is not bad at all for 2 dings. I hope not to pay more than that for just one. People are so damn inconsiderate with new cars. Pisses me off! My old car I had for 7 years and not one ding! I had TL for 3 months and already someone is out to get me.....
