Dice Problem

I have a 04navi, dice silverline R4, and a 3rd gen nano. My ipod won't play through my dice unit anymore. It still shows everything on the navi sceen, all menus work, but no sound. What it does do though is when I hit preset 2 which activates playlist control/refreshes the connection, the speakers pop real loud once and then nothing. I have turned the car on and off, plugged and unplugged ipod, and reset ipod. Can anyone help?

it may be a bad dice unit, since it's giving a pop.

Fixed it. Reset the ipod with it hooked up to the dice unit.
