Hey guys, I had the worst luck today and have a dent in a weird area and was wondering if any of you knew how to fix something like this?

So, I was driving to my research lab this morning and while passing under a tree at about 45 mph and i think an ACORN or something hard fell from a tree and hit my car.
It hit the car on the corner of the windshield where the black plastic trim piece is so luckily it did not dent the sheet metal, but the black thing has a dent on it and its irritating me.

Is it possible for a dentless paint removal place to remove this or do i have to replace the entire thing that runs all the way back to the rear windshield?

yea i think its the b4210 thing, but it goes all the way over the roof to the back windshield im not a hundred percent sure if that is the part. can anyone else chime in?

That's an easy replacement man. Weird spot for sure though. I don't think you un-indent (is that a word??? lol) plastic. HEY, I research in a research lab too! What's your protocol? If you don't mind me asking...? University???!

Sorry you have to replace it. But, it's literally a plug and play piece. It pops right off.
