Delay going from R-D

My 04 takes a little bit switching between r and d, about a second, maybe closer to 2. It's got 370k kms on it. Trans works perfectly fine otherwise but has the usual whine when accelerating in all gears. I did a 3qt fluid change with dw1 at 350k (dont think it has ever had a fluid change). Wondering if there is some stuff I could try or is this normal?

I have done that before, didnt change shifting into drive but definitely prefer the way it drives, I usually just use manual shift since I know how I want the car to drive :P

I did the 3L change 6 months ago and I think it's never been changed otherwise, so after doing research I'm thinking the fluid is just very spent and causing this

Mine ('08 TL with 115k) does the same. It was doing it ever since I bough the car with ~76k and two other TL that I test drove were doing it. Switches helped with shifts, but didn't do anything to the delayed shift to D. My ATF is in pretty good shape. I probably ran like ~15qt through it since I bought it.

My buddys' '05 RL does the same. I believe those cars are just like that. Don't think you can do anything. Just keep up with maintenance.
