Does anyone know a permanent fix for this problem? It's not too big a deal, but sometimes when I look up to check the time, the screen is just black. I usually give it a light bang with my fist and the clock will turn on again. But after another couple minutes it'll shut off again.

Any help is appreciated.

Dunno, but I had that problem with my rx7. Its got to be an electrical connection IMO if you can bang on it and get it to do something again.
