Hey guys ive checked the forums for an answer to this question but i cant seem to find a solid answer. A while after buying my 05 TL i noticed that my zoom button for the navi no longer lit up. All my other dash lights work fine leading me to believe these are individual bulbs. For the most part it all seems sealed so is there a way i can replace this bulb myself or i am i stuck taking chances with a dealer. Any insight would be appreciated.

I have the same problem with my 99 RL, but all of the navi buttons do not lit up anymore, does anybody have instructions on how to remove the dash to do that? I greatly appreciate it!

 

You can check that same thread, although those instructions are for the 3G TL. Try searching the RL forums, too.

 

I tried to search the RL forum, but did not find much, it is kind of strange that all the navigation lights went out at once, could something happened because I washed engine the other day....a wire or something?... I appreciate any info. Thanks in advance!

 

Chances of you screwing something up under the hood while washing the engine bay are slim to none, unless you applied direct force of water to anything electrical.

 

I don't think I applied direct force of water to anything electrical....I just dont get it why would all the lights go out on the navigation screen...however my navigatin is working 100%....just the buttons are not lighting up.....I don't know what to do

 

i have the same issue. i just had a friend replace all the bulbs around the navi unit, but it still wont light up. He checked the fuses and they are all fine. I am not looking forward to going to the dealer. 05 TL

 

OP, did you check fuses?

 

Same problem here.... the menu and setup lights dont work on the navigation...but it also extends to the 2 buttons that turn on the seat warmers .....
