CV axle replacement

CV axle replacement

getting mine changed soon both sides Ive did a bunch of research I guess im mainly looking for one that has a dampener on it which the advanced auto parts stores dont have anyone have any experience with these first equipment quality axles

I suspect you won't find many users that have experience with the axles you posted so I just linked you to axles that many members have had success with including myself. My bad. Good luck with it if you decide to go that route.

On the subject, I have a 2004 TL with automatic trans that I'm having a hell of a time removing the axle from the trans case. My Haynes manual is worthless and I'm not sure of this unit has a intermediate shaft that I should be disconnecting or with the right amount of pressure and leverage will it pop out of the trans case? This just about has me beat and I can get good instructions or a youtube video explaining the process. Any help offered is Greatly! appreciated.

I just ordered one passenger OEM axle. Cheapest Honda would give me is $350 CDN. After reading about people having issues with aftermarket, i do not want the headache and added time and labour to correct faulty replacements.
I will see how much longer the driver's side lasts before replacing. Normally I'd replace in pairs but I'm curious to see how much longer it will last.
