just purchased an 07 tl type-s a few weeks ago, have never rubbed up against a curb in my life, naturally managed to do so with this car. aquired a realatively small gash on the rear rim edge, about 1-1/2" long. light damage, but just enough to piss me off and want to fix it.

there is a place nearby called "wheel worx" that repairs damaged rims, and my buddy says they do a decent job. the cost would be around $150 to repair the rim.

i also googl'd and found some do-it-yourself repair instructions, cost of materials averaging around $75.

just wondering if anyone has any input or experience fixing curb rash on these gunmetal type rims. TIA everyone.
