Creaky Pass Seat

Have 07 TL (noticed it on my friends 07 TL as well) and mostly when no one is in the seat I notice a creaky noise when the care is accelerating or decelerating. If I move the pass seat all the way forward it does nto happen. I can sometime make it happed by lifting up on the seat form the bottom side. I'm wondering if anyone else had/has this and has fixed it. I am thinking maybe pulling out the seat, and re-fastening it, but it souds plasticy so I'm thinking the trim along the bootom right side is the culprit.

I used search function keyword "seat" and I got this link.

Try to do the same for all other issues because if you have the issue chances are someone else does too

I saw that one, but mine is more like a creak and not the same at least as he discribes it, but I may look into that as it is not that difficult to rule out.

You must perform the hump test and report back.

Same issue here.... actually mine has been gone now for two weeks so far after applying silicon spray on the lower track underneath, left hand side. No joke...my 06 had the same issue.

Take it to the dealer. I had this same problem with my '06 and they replaced the seat frame. Problem is gone now.

The seat noise can come from alot of different areas. At the shop I have applied a silcone spray on the seat tracks. Most of the time I have removed the 14mm bolts that holds the seat down, and apply a thin foam tape to the contact area between the seat tracks and the body itself.
