First time poster - did a search but nothing specific to my issue came up. Sorry if this is redundant.
2006 MT TL w/82K miles Battery is 7/10.
Driver door left open in garage for 24 hours by accident and will not start. Car cranks so I have been told this is not the starter. Any suggestions?

Turn the lights on and try and start the car, lights go dim? Battery low, so recharge the battery or use a battery pack or jumper cables to give the car a boost.

Should have mentioned before that I attempted to jump start the car and it did not work. I was able to finally get the car started by pumping the gas a few times and cranking it up twice. Perhaps the battery was drained. I have never owned a vehicle with so much electronic gadgets.

Update - so now, I am really confused. Are there any reported electrical or light problems with this model? Last night I got home from work and shut down the car like normal. A few minutes later when I let out my dog I noticed the interior lights were on. As I have been paying extra attention during the last 24 hours I was puzzled by this. I clicked the lights off and went inside. This morning, at 7am, let out the dog and what do you know, the interior lights are on again. What gives? Thanks
