My 05 Tl crank pulley is squealing upon vehicle start for about 5 minutes.

I sprayed it down with wd-40 and then sprayed white grease on it, it went away, now it came back.

They pulley does not wobble.

Does the crank pulley have a bearing in it?

 

The pulley is not wobbling or loose. It has a has a rubber/elastomer bushing and no bearing?

I don't know why its squealing.

I just pressure washed the pulley all around it. Hopefully this washed away the problem - if it is able to be washed away.

 

did you get grease on the belt? I would take it off, clean all the pulleys and make sure the belt has no oil. You may need to throw on a new belt if the old one is contaminated.

 

^^ I took the passenger wheel off and greased it. I didn't get any grease on the belt.

I took the belt off afterwards and pressure washed the crank pulley it when it started to squeal again.

 

the power wash didn't work. it's squealing.......
