Unhappy Craking/Strange Noise from driver's front brake (Brembo)

I got my 04 TL with Brembo brakes for about 3 months now and I enjoy every single seconds in it. Feels like intercourse bucle in the seat belt....

Anyway, my little problem is, when I was at a drive trough the other day, I heard some wacky noise coming from my drivers front wheel while I was standing on the brakes...

I turned down the radio and looked outside while pushing the brake pedal. Unfortunatly it was my brake makin a crakin scrashin sound. I tought my brake were near to their end so I took my baby to the garage. They said the brakes were fine, 50% left in front 80% in the back....

It still doing the noise but, since I went to the garage, it is more quiet

Did one of you guys Experience this issue/noise and do somebody have an idea about what would cause this anoying noise...

please help!

numerous threads on brembo noise

usual cause is not using them hard enough- dragging the car slowly to a stop all the time will overheat the OE pads and glaze them- making the noise
Brakes like these are meant to ~reduce speed quickly~ then release pedal-
apply again as needed
To clear pads and rebed:
On an empty open road- do 4-5 heavy slow downs- not stops- with increasing pedal -braking effort each time'
from about 70mph or l0 higher if the speed limit allows
brake down to 30-40 using medium force, then immediatly back to speed and brake-
a little harder this time
repeat until just below ABS activation- on the brakes HARD
you may smell brake pad- thats good for this purpose

now without coming to a full stop- continue to drive 15 minutes without using brakes- at freeway cruise speed if possible- allows gradual cooling of rotors and pads

park 15 minutes and now you should be all set

THANKS ALOT 01TL4TL...it really worked. Nice explanation, NOW I know how to use my brakes!!!

Advice: For manual transmission, use engine brake as much as possible on HighWAY....

Thanks again! 01TL4TL

dont be downshifting your MT just to slow down
clutches are expensive
brakes are cheap incomparision!
Each part has a job- the trans is to be in the torque for exiting the corner
the brakes slow you down for the corner- the trans takes you out of it!
