Cracked dashboard in '04 TL

Has anyone found out if there was ever a class action lawsuit or recall issued for the crappy TL dashboards? Mine is so cracked that the air bag lights go on, indicating that its been deactivated, according to my mechanic. I am really worried about safety because of this crappy dash!
A cracked dashboard isn't associated with any airbag sensors, and if it was then you bet there would be a recall.
Have the airbag code read with a scan tool to verify.

Dash Recall
Acura isn't going to do a recall for this issue since it poses NO saftey issue. The vinyl is cracking and that's it. The airbag will still deploy, and if anything deploy better since it's going to be easier for it to break through the brittle vinyl. No debris will go flying and there will be no additional risk to occupants.
The only thing they will probably do is issue an internal memo or a TSB about the issue and advise a better replacement idea/procedure. Maybe they might even start selling a new vinyl skin for it!

If you use a Coverlay, please insure you use a sunshade. The one day I forgot to use a sunshade in Florida. My Coverlay warped just above the airbag, and now I have to try to glue the damn thing down again. If that doesn't work, I'm going to try to replace it with Rock Auto, where I bought it.
