Cracked Dashboard in '04

Weird thing is that it's in the "other" material that's on the dash. Most I've seen have to do with the airbag, and although mine has sunken and you can see the airbag indention a little, that's not the placement of the crack. I'm hoping that this small dash piece can be replaced cheaper than the whole dash. I've also thought that I might be able to do some sort of Di-noc on it or something matte that wont reflect but just cover it up. I'm not sure what material is on it now but it's much different than the whole dash. Any words of advice?? has this happened to anyone...not the cracked dash...but one this specific piece??

here you can see its between the dash and the 'other' material..then proceeds into the other stuff near the gauges

I think it's all one piece, it's just textured differently, or if it's two "pieces" they're inseparable or they dont sell just the gauge cluster part.

Mine's cracked on the passenger side. Started small like that and grew larger very quickly. You should try and patch it and see if it'll slow the progress of the split.
