Over the last day I've notice a hot coolant smell when I get out of the car. Did some investigating and found this small amount of, what I assume to be, coolant. What am I looking at and where could this be coming from?

I should also mention this is occurring just behind the engine. Although, I'm assuming most of you can probably see that. The image isn't the greatest though.

 

That's your water/heater valve.

 

I thought it was probably that valve, but had no clue what it's called. Lol. So much better than walking into a shop and saying, "that thing right there is leaking." Thank you
