continuing issues with 04 TL WTF!!!!!!!
I have had my 04 Tl, which was purchased brand new for over a year and a half.
Since I have owned it I have had an intermittent problem that will not go away and that the dealers still refuse to even look at. I called Acura support, and they were even less helpful, saying that I should just keep going back to the dealer so they can diagnose it. Here is the issue:
Occassionally, although it happens more frequently recently, is this: engine gets very sluggish, transmission doesn't shift properly, steering feels vague and "stiff", handling seems weak, car gets rough over bumps,
and when breaking, the transmission won't downshift as it normally does. Then, sometimes, it will go back to normal.
So, I've been taking it to dealers to test drive, and they claim that nothing's wrong, which is obviously bull. I feel that they know what's wrong but they are told by Acura not to do anything. This is how these companies work. Warranty doesn't wan't to pay for anything, so they just bs the customer to get them off their back. Either that or they don't know what is wrong. So far none of the 4 dealers I brought it to, won't even look for a problem.
So here I am completely stuck, and I am going to have the sell the car and lose money. My warrantly also runs out in 3K miles. What can I do? It seems that companies have gotten so powerful that there is really nothing you can do anymore. Apparently their job is not to sell you a car, but just to steal your money.

Sorry for your troubles. Just remember, if the issue is not repeatable, it's very hard for them to troubleshoot it. They're not necessarily trying to steal your money, though your frustrations might suggest so.
As long as you keep going back to the dealer, they'll have a record of it. If something were to crop up even after the warranty expires, there's proof that you have made them aware of the problem previously. I've been in a similar situation and they warranted the work though I was a few thousand miles past warranty.

I think my car is having similar problems 06 tl
the steering is really annoying, sometimes it follows the road and will pull right and left A LOT and sometimes its okay, and my suspension also gets really bumpy after a while.
but its all relative to the driver, so i don't know if im being over sensative - but i got to say it pretty embarrasing when i have passengers and the ride is so rough for a pretty high end acura
I kind of wish i got the G35
