I'm taking my TL (08 TLS MT) to the dealership next Saturday to get an oil change and to see if they can tell me why I have a lot of condensation on my front window. Yes, I realize condensation happens, but there is more just to the right of the center part of the window (low). It's very wet in this spot and leaves a nasty filmy stain on the window after it dries out. This has been happening for at least 6 months.

My question is: Has anyone else had a similar problem? If you did, what did the dealership do to fix it? How long did you have to complain before they fixed it?

Not sure if this is it but when you get a lot of moisture on the windshield it is usually the heater core. Dealer will be able to see. Double check the antifreeze level, if it is going down then points to heatercore

 

I have had the same problem, and I was just gonna post something about it till I saw your thread. I have had cars that would get condensation on the front window before but nothing like my TL. I guess I just wouldnt expect it from my TL. I also am going to have my dealer check it out next time I take my car in (next month.)

 

I have the same problem and it only happens when it is raining outside. I assume it is rain water entering thourgh the outside air intake for the ventilation as my coolant level is stable and I dont detect the sweet smell of coolant. No wet carpets either. Please update on what the dealer told you. 2007 Base TL
