Computer Fried

Hey guys,

So as I was driving with my A/C on every time I made a left turn the fan would make these weird sounds so I knew there was some debris in there that needed to be cleared out. Two days later my car started acting up and to cut to the chase I found out the debris clogged the vent hole which let the condensation drip out of the car. Doing so made the water flow else where and what better place than on the engine computer!

1. I have a vented cowl and I never closed up the vent hole for the A/C although I periodically checked through the hole and it was clean. Could this have caused this or is it a common flaw with this car?

2. Is there anyway of protecting the computer from condensation to prevent this from happening again for all the acurazine members to know?

Known issue, many threads on it. In the other cases, it's the drain tube just in front of the firewall on the passenger side that gets blocked. Yours was probably the same.
