Code B1726

Morning guys. First, I hit the search button before posting and I'm having no luck so hopefully one of you guys can help me out.

My A/C stopped blowing cold, and is throwing a B1726 code (Display Control Unit Lost Communication with Climate Control Unit). I swapped the relays and nothing changed. My car is mostly stock (no headlight or electrical mods).

Any ideas before I bite the bullet and take it to the stealership?

Thanks for any and all assistance.

So I dropped the car off at the dealership yesterday and the diagnosis came back as a bad clutch coil for which they would replace for $825. After some quick research, I've found a new coil for $40 and a thread detailing its replacement. It should take me about 3-4 hours to swap it out.

I installed a new clutch coil on Friday, utilizing the guide previously posted and I now have air conditioning again. It was pretty easy to do minus the one snap ring holding the coil assembly on. Again, the dealer quoted me $825. Thanks to the information provided in this forum, I was able to save a lot of money by doing it myself.
