ok..got a question for the supercharged guys...

i've had my charger in for about 3 months now...and i think my clutch is slipping..
for example...when you start in 1st...then red-line it and shift into 2nd...it all i hear is the whine from the charger..almost as if my tires are just spinning and laying a massive patch...but its not...then it will catch later on after i go into 3rd....
then i few seconds later..i can smell that hot break/burning clutch smell..

so just wondering if it is the clutch...and if so, what aftermarket clutches is anyone else running with the SC if any??

now i know i just have waaaayyyy tooo much power

ohh ya..if it matters car has 65,000kms...so..still pretty young..

 

Is the car still keeping the RPMs up when you shift into 2nd? If its revving and not going then you have a clutch problem. 65,000 miles on a clutch that is not designed to handle a SC is acutally pretty good.

 

yup..revs still climb and hit rev limiter..then i shift into 3rd...and it finally catches...
and its 65,000 kms...not miles...so its actually better..lol
