clutch slipping?? please help
Okay so I did the slave cylinder checkvalve mod on my 6MT about a week ago.
Say I'm going WOT in 2nd gear and when I shift into 3rd really quick it still feels like the clutch isn't letting go all the way. As soon as I shift and let go of the clutch I push the gas pedal all the way but the RPM's just chill at like 4K for a second and then start going up again.
The checkvalve mod helped because the clutch lets go faster now but it's not as fast as I want it to.
Will it help if I replace the slave cylinder? or does it sound like my clutch is slipping?

the best way to check the clutch is slipping is by being on up hill and stop in the middle of the up hill, I'm going to guess you know where you the clutch engage point is so start letting the clutch go if rpm goes up higher than usual it is sign of clutch slipping. Also how many miles on your clutch?

I have 73K on the original clutch. If it helps, I tried letting go of the clutch in 1st gear without giving it any gas and it started rolling almost immediately.

ok i tried everything you guys have suggested and the clutch is not slipping.
i think i just need to get a new slave cylinder and remove the checkvalve again...my RPM's still dont drop fast enough when i try to shift quickly
