Clutch problem 2004TL

Hello there, Iam new to this site, could anyone please help me out, with someone with a silmilar problem. I have 2004 TL and the mechanic has to change the whole clutch plus the flywheel. it only has 75,000 kms. The car was revving abruptly for about 2 days, when it finally gave out on the hight, ands I couonf engage my clutch. Please make any comments. Thanks in advance

one company makes a better clutch for the TL's. One member bought it, from what i can recall, i think it was a SPEC stage 2+ clutch with a sprung something.
