Climate control problem?
Climate control problem?
My temperature setting in my [Canadian] car go:
Lo - 17....31 - Hi
It seems that my car only blows hot air when I put the temperature up to "Hi" in the car. If it is anything below that, between 31-17 degrees Celsius (sorry, Canadian car here), the air temperature is always the same and it blows cold.
There is no intermediate temps. It's like the heat doesn't change at all and only turns on when put to Hi. Is this normal? Has anyone else had this issue?
Sometimes it's a little cooler in the evenings and I'd like to have some heat on, but unless I crank it to Hi, I'm only left with cold air. As part of my recent major service, I had the thermostat and coolant replaced so I know there isn't an issue there.
Can anyone help??

Thanks for the help!!
After reading through your thread, it looks like this is something that will take me a bit of time to get done, so I'll save it for a long weekend. I'm just glad I don't have to replace something super expensive!!!

There's a long weekend coming up
When you screw the gears back in, don't make it too tight. Scroll through the temperature while looking at it move and adjust tension of the screws so that they let the gears move freely
