clicking sound from the rear passenger side over bumps
every time i go over the slightest bump or series of bumps (rough road) the area around the rear pillar mounted side airbag (behind rear passengers head). ive got an appointment with my dealer to have it looked at, but im wondering if anyone else has experienced this, and if so, if they could tell me what it was in their case. thanks.

Dealer couldn't hear it. It took me driving around in the back while I friend drove to find it. Fixing it was pretty quick right in my garage.

awesome. thanks for the info. super useful. i will definitely mention it to the dealer when i take it in next week. glad im not the only one this has happened to. its literally THE most annoying clicking/rattling ive ever experienced. obviously you only hear it when the stereo is off (not often), but it sounds shitty when youre having a conversation with your "passenger" and its clicking away. makes the car sound cheap (and it wasn't )

Removing the rear pillar cover is a PITA. I probably should have removed the upper portion of the rear seat to do it right.

I had a similar problem but mine actually wound up being a loose plate above the rear strut housing (according to the dealer). It had to be tightened down and that corrected the problem completely!
