Clicking sound in Parking?

Clicking sound in Parking?

Ok so I have this clicking sound when the car is in park and I press the brakes is it normal to be this loud? Easy fix? I hope...

I have the same click when I push my brake pedal in park, or while I'm driving and slow down to a stop.

It's the solenoid clicking.

I remember someone posted a fix by putting felt or something on the "hammer" of the solenoid.

Yea thats my exact description as well...hmm solenoid? Did you get to fix it? not really sure where that part is located? Is there a DIY?

its' normal. My sister's auto civic does the same thing. The solenoid prevents you from shifting from park w/o the brake pressed.
