Clicking sound front passenger side.

So when my car is idle, slightly accelerated to about 1500 RPM's, or decelerated down to 1500 RPM's, I can hear a clicking sound in the front passenger side. I just recently purchased a 2008 TL is just under 40K miles. This happens everyday. I popped the hood and it sounded like it was coming from the engine. No idea what it is. I'm not too familiar with cars so I apologize if the information above is too vague.

Thanks in advance for any help.

A click from a stop is probably normal since the axles make that noise once the car starts from a stop but if you hear the noise more often or louder when turning to the left, it is probably the outer joint of the passenger axle that is bad. If that's the case the best route is to replace the axle.
