clicking/rattle from steering column/dash when i hit gas
I noticed that if im in park or neutral and tap the gas to rev the engine a little, I here a clicking/rattling noise that seems to scale with engine rpm. It sounds like it's coming from the guage cluster/steering column/dash area. I also hear it when i take off from a dead stop. Anyone know what it could be?

I had a similar issue, but mine occured over slight bumps too.
Mine turned out to be the air conditioning vent, to the left of the steering wheel. All the time i thought it was something behind the dash, at one point i even thought it was the speaker near the front window.
Solved by prying out the vent, inserting a sponge piece right on top of the vent to keep it from tapping on the upper part of the dash.
To figuire out if this is it, when u hear the noise, try pressing on the dashboard area, where the heating/cooling vent is, just below the speaker, see if it goes away. If it does, hooray! If not
