Hey, all:

I am getting this clicking noise when I change gears. The clicking does not happen all the time but it does happen enough that it is noticeable. I can't hear it if the windows are closed but when the window is open, I hear it click usually when I take my foot off the clutch. I only started noticing this within the past month.

Now I did take my car to the dealer about 2-3 months ago to get the 3rd-gear synchronizer fixed. The clicking was not noticeable before and not after. Only in the past month I started noticing it.

It seems to be from the clutch but it sometimes clicks on its own without my foot on the clutch.

Appreciate any ideas or suggestions.

mine does the same thing. if I change the direction the motor is loaded, rocking car fwd/back, or like lurching the car in 1st gear, it's makes a snapping noise. My old Accord did it right before a total axle joint failure (actually seized). I took it to the dealer, said they can't diagnose it, but wouldn't simply start replacing parts as an exploratory diagnosis. I suggested motor mount too, said mount(s) look fine.
