Cleaning tinted windows

Not really a problem, per se, but I used Amor All glass wipes and then good old-fashioned paper towels with Windex, and both methods left a cloudy, streaky film on the window interior. Any suggestions for better results?

You shoudl not use amonia based products on tinted windows. I lok for mild glass ceaner, I beleive also some distilled water with vinegar added will work good as well. You also should use soft microfiber or cotton cloths to avoid scratching the tint.

When you go to Wal-mart or similar go to the auto section. Almost all of these places carry window cleaners that say on them that they are safe for tinted windows. I really like the stuff made by Stoner and there is one available at Advance Auto parts that I like as well but I cant remember the name or manufacturer.

At our shop we use, (believe it or not), Sprayway.

http://www.spraywayinc.com/glassmirr...assmirror.html

It's great for both metallic and non-metallic films and leaves no streaks (I sound like a commercial.)

But yes, its great, its cheap, and it works way better than a lot of more expensive products out there. The recommendation for Stoner products is also great, but it cost more and is less foamy.

I like Sprayway too. It's some good shit! However, I get the Stoner stuff pretty cheap at wal-mart.
