Cleaning dried milk off exterior?

Yesterday I came back to my car and found a crushed milk carton in the space next to mine ... and milk splattered all over the side of my car. I took it to be washed today, and the dried milk spots were still on there. I can remove them by very carefully scraping off the individual spots with my thumbnail, but that takes forever and even that isn't completely effective.

Anyone else ever faced this before? Any tips?
