we all have gotten the steering whine noises, vibrating noises, and even the putting the car into park or reverse and getting a big clank there noise. but has anyone gotten random clanking noises when after going over a speed bump slowly? the clanking doesnt happen until after i have already passed over the speed bump. almost sounds as if something was loose.

also, would the "bushings" from this thread make noises?

the clanks also happen randomly when i turn slowly to the left. its driving me crazy.

i have already replaced my o-ring, have good amount of steering fluid. had my alignment fixed a few months ago. but i just need some input on where i should exactly be looking for this particular situation.

 

I have an 07 TL-S and I hear a clunking sound from my left rear when i go over bumps, or when i pull out of any driveway thats a little bit higher. I have to go extremly slow over bumps to avoid that clunking noise, but it almost seems that no matter how slow I go it's still there.

 

what i realized that i used to hear those noises before and they have to do with shocks i believe.

 

there is a TSB for a rear bump stop issue
and in general look over the suspension- sway bar end links are a likely source
