recently the checklight went on on my 04 tl auto
p00174- presenet. system too lean
p0848- 3rd pressure switch curc high

the second what i pressume is for the 3rd and 4th tranimssion switch so i replaced them (yes i did search and thats all i found so i just switched them)

now for the first one i have no clue how to get it off i did take it to the dealer to get the codes read up but they didnt tell me what i had to do to remove it and i searched and nothing came up

anyone know? thanks

From what I'm reading that is a generic OBD code, I would say it is either a bad Mass Air Flow sensor or perhaps a vaccum leak. It could be that your Mass Air Flow sensor is dirty, you have a bad hose somewhere or that your fuel filter is bad.

 

I've been dealing with this same issue, Too Lean. Been told it's one of the hardest to diagnose. I got the mass airflow sensor ($56 from Delray) and the Accelerator Pedal Position sensor ($127.00), the later being for a separate code I got specifically from that. Here's the responses I'm getting -
"run injector cleaner through it, and put good gas in. Our cars drive like crap in the summer anyway."

I've had my O2 Sensor replaced, it went away for a few months, and now it's back. Will update after the MAF is installed.

 

oh i see yea the acura dealer didnt even bother telling me how i can remove it but i guess ill be changing that maf sensor and see it from there

also just today my car was running good, turned the car off to pump gas when i turned it back on it acted wierd like laged when i started to drive like it was struggueling to drive so i turn it off and did the same and just drove not pass 15 mph since i was in a street but once i got to the highway drove normal anyone know what it can be and i have no warning lights showing on my dashboard and transmission oil is leveled fine
