check fuel cap msg

I get "check fuel cap" msg every 20 miles or so. I did replace the fuel cap for a new one but I still get that bloody thing popping on. Should I replace the vent pressure sensor? Did anyone had that before?

there should be a bulletin. and it seems you know about it. so why make a thread, a simple search would help.

Yea that's the case..i've got the same issue...it's covered under the emissions warranty.. I'm taking mine in next week for them to fix it. They said it should only take an hour or so.

This sensor is covered under your emissions warranty. I just spoke with the dealer yesterday they stated it is covered to 100k. How true that is I don't really know but I am sure it is covered to at least 75K.

Take it to the dealership bro. I bought my CPO TL-S with this message stored in the NAV. Took it to the dealership...fixed it for free with a loaner....after 3 separate tries....

^^^Do I smell DIY thread on this soon....I think this would be a great idea, because several 3G TL-S owners already have had this issue....

It's covered under the emissions warranty..

I just brought my 08 TL-S in today and told them of the problem.
I brought up the info about the TSB and they didn't ask one question, simply gave me a loaner and told me it would be done that day.

Got the car back as promised and no problems so far!
