Check Engine light flashing after brisk acceleration
I was driving home from an event. I was on the highway doing 75 for about 10 minutes. while on the road to get to my house I was accelerating brisky from a light. nothing crazy. I was at about 4-5k rpm max in 2nd gear at which point I pulled into my turning lane and noticed the check engine light flashing. I was a bit worried so I just stopped. the light flashed for maybe 5-10 seconds and then stopped. My car is an 04 Acura TL at with roughly 79k miles. Does anyone have a clue as to what may have happened, or what I can do (replace parts/etc) to prevent that in the future? I tried searching without any helpful results. any input would be helpful. thanks ahead of time.

More:
Ive been looking this up online and have found people saying something about cylinder misfire on different honda/acura models. Another I think I should probably add is that recently ive felt like it idles pretty low when in neutral park. When drive is engadged, it revs just slightly lower. I would guess 700-800rpms.

A few years ago I had to stomp on the TL when entering a highway from a dead stop, really hammered the throttle, probably the first and only time that had to be done in this manner, and the CEL came on for a few seconds and haven't seen it since?????? Never tried to have it read as everything has operated properly since that phenomenon, and have never seen the CEL since.
Idle speed is 750 +/- 50.
