I have a 2006 Acura TL that recently the check engine light came on. I drive the car for a while and my VSA light comes on and I am not able to turn it off unless i turn the car off. When the VSA light comes on It take a while for the car to move while pressing on the gas pedal. I took it to autozone and they told me it was the throttle positioning sensor. So do i just buy the the sensor or the the entire throttle. The sensor is $75 and the entire throttle body is $285.

 

Two different areas you're talking about. The Accelerator Pedal Position sensor, detects the position of the gas pedal, and the throttle body is on the engine.
