Exclamation Check engine light....??

Ok so today I opened my intake filter box to check my filter out and seen that it needed to be changed. The bottom was nasty black and looked horrible. Anyway I just purchased a K&N filter as my replacement because it's tradition and I like K&N (all my cars have used K&N). In order for me to get the box for the filter open I had to remove a few things like the throttle sensor and stuff. After installing the K&N filter the car started up fine but now I have a check engine light on. The comp says that my acceleration will be less and throttle reaponce will be delayed. What in the world happened? Has anyone had this problem before after buying a K&N filter?

Make sure you bolted everything back up tightly enough and hooked it all back up correctly...then reset the code and see if it comes back.

does it sound different to you at all? like maybe there is an air leak somewhere or something? That should give you a hint of where there is a leak; if there is one.

good luck!

My guess is you forgot to reconnect the MAP sensor connector (A):

Well I think I connected Everything back correctly I mean I didn't remove the TB. all I disconnected was (A) the map sensor and that pipe hose to the right of the map sensor in your pic. I also accidentally started the car when I had the filter off and out....it sounded like it was going to die.....did I do something to mess up the comp? I also got this message about my stability control.
