so this mornig i woke up n got my check engine light stuck on. i waited it hopin it will go away...nothing....so i called the dealer n told them since i have an apointment on the 26h for my axles that they would need to check my light n see whats up...i decided to stop by our mechanic shop n have it plugged in so i have an idea of what it is. my car shot up 14 codes. 6 of them was each cylinder misfiring. my car runs perfect no issuues. im guessing at one point that it stalled? all these codes shot up? what do u guys think

 

holy shit! would it be your plugs? whens the last time you got them replaced?

 

Wow, check engine lights on an 06 TL, already! How many miles have you driven? I see that you have done some electrical-related work to your car (but little or no engine-related work). Could that have caused the check engine light to go on? BTW, what is "mid muffler delete"?

 

I'm not sure of the code but could you be a victim of "rodent rage" on your knock sensor wiring etc.?

 

Just last week i was checking a fuse that my EDFC is tapped into. After i plugged the fuse back in i got a constant check engine light. Took a day for that to go away and now i have the 20 seconds steady and 5 blinks (when key is in II position) indicating that the emissions log was erased due to a lose in power. This will go away with a week or so worth of driving. Same thing happend to me when i installed CAI. Anyways...have you done any elctrical work recently that may have tripped a computer?

Sounds like what i described in my first post. When the key is in the II position does the check engine light come on then blink?

 

You know, I had a weird problem too. I was chillin talkin to a girl in my car with it runnin for like 20 minutes a few days ago. When I pulled away I saw the check engine light was on. By then I was on the highway, and just to make sure nothing was wrong I pulled off and turned the car off for like 2 or 3 minutes and then restarted it, and it was all cleared... Let me know what the dealer says.

btw I just broke 50K in 18 months!!!!

 

i have about 45k and it was on all day..wheter turning the car off or on. but it went away so im waiting to go to the dealer for prolly my last visit. just gotta take my 20's off dont want them to void my warantee
