That sucks. I'm currently having the same problem with mine. Except mine is manual, and starts sometimes. I understand the frustration

Ciroq, it's probably your starter that's causing the intermittent start problem.

OP already did this and now he's got the same problem, which isn't very likely. So we are trying to figure out if he is missing something.

OP, what kind of starter did you buy? I can't help but think there's something that you're missing.

If I were you, take the starter out. Go back to AZ and have it tested, or swapped for a new one.

I used to work at AutoZone, and had TONS and TONS of complaints and comebacks about their starters and alternators. Just about anything remotely mechanical manufactured by their company. I wouldn't be surprised if the starter you picked up is BAD to begin with...

My bad mine is AUTOMATIC. I been searching web and basically I got
1. Check battery
2. Starter
3. Neutral safety switch (probably not necessary with manual)

@ciroc have you tried troubleshooting. Take a tester and see if your starter has power should have 12v I think but if you read some of the posts that these awesome guys wrote that'll might help you out!

Ciroq, it doesn't matter whether you're AUTO or MANUAL.

Starters tend to go bad on the 3G's period.

OP, your car was not starting push starting it.............that eliminates the starter from the equation. Thats great that you identified your new starter as faulty, but if it wasnt starting push starting there are issues other than the starter or you didnt have the ignition on.

I've got a hunch he didn't know how to push start the car properly. If the new-new starter fixes the problem we will know for sure.

^This. Especially since there was no other problems mentioned before the install, I doubt it has to do with anything other than the starter.

On the bright side, I just had a 3G UA7 come into the dealer saying that since the dealer performed an oil change, the car has problems starting intermittently. BOOM! warranty coverage for diag and brand new starter.

it was one of you guys I know it.

They told me that the starter was weak and didn't have enough juice to spin the flywheel, it would kick but slow, when they tested it but it is kind of weird if starter was problem and pop start didn't run. Shit! Don't tell me another thing is fu@$ed!! Lets see what happens when this new starter comes on wednesday

well then you got bigger problems than the starter. bump starting it took the place of the starter and spun the engine just fine. If it didnt fire then it will not fire with a new starter. I have driven cars for weeks without a starter just using hills.

The starter is coming in on Wednesday so I will not have any news till Wednesday night when I get the starter installed. I will keep you guys updated but something is weird and I don't know what it is. It's kinda hard to explain if I'm not a truly mechanic but I could definitely use some help if I can explain things clearer

Definitely. Plus every car has its quirks. The 3G is just a little extra fussy, lol. So both of you guys (ciroq & Nik) are in for some more exciting stuff.

Pontz is a thread jacker lol.... If your horn doesn't work, you blew the fuse for the brake/horn (same circuit) if your horn works you need a new brake switch.

Op does your engine turn over freely? Sounds to me like something's locked up.

He said he had no response at all to begin with, tried jumping it and so on but nothing. Then, he changed the starter and only had a "CLICK" . But it was an aftermarket starter from Autozone, which was later tested and failed. So he ordered a new one from Acura. We are all waiting to see if he fixes it .

OP, if the new starter doesn't work, take a video and post it. We want to see and hear what happens.

I would be working on my push starting skills while waiting on the starter. At least you would have a good idea that the starter is the main problem if you can get it started this way.

The key should be in II to pop start it. Either first or 2nd gear. Push until the car gets some momentum and pop the clutch. Apparently you were doing it wrong if it didn't work. Or your 6 speed manual is an automatic.
