Certain INT Lights Stay On When Car Is Off
Hello! I've owned my 07 Type S for about a year now and have really enjoyed it! I've been running into an issue where certain interior lights wont turn off.
I replaced the turn Signals with Sylvania LEDs on Tuesday along with a Diode Dynamics relay switch to prevent the hyper flash. Thursday, I woke up with a dead battery. Jumped it and drove to work. On the way to work my one interior turn signal was dimly lit on the dashboard. Thought maybe the relay was faulty and contacted Diode about it. 8 hours later after work, the car was dead again. Jumped the car again and decided to go get the battery checked and replaced. Battery was replaced by O'Rileys. Before starting the car again, I noticed the radio lights were on even when the car was off and locked. Various other lights have been going on and off like memory seat and window switches all night while I was trying to fix the issue. I reverted back to the stock relay and turn Signals as well to see if that would fix it. That fixed the turn signal portion of the light issue but the radio and door cards still remain. Decided to let the car sit for a day without the battery plugged in to see if that can maybe help fix it. I've looked over multiple threads on here to see if there are any similar issues and haven't found anything.
Sorry for the long post but looking for any help if possible!
Thanks!

Just an update on this situation.
I took this to a mechanic over a week ago to have him take a look at it. Before then, I checked to see if the Hands Free Link was still connected. I decided to disconnect it from all of the good posts I've read about disconnecting it. I then pulled the radio fuse to keep the lights from coming on while the car was off. This caused about 20 code errors through out the MICU essentially. He used to work at Honda and was able to check for any parasitic draws in the car. He ended up clearing all the codes, letting the car sit over night, and testing it the next morning. Only issue that he kept coming up with was the hands free not connected and it was throwing a code but no battery draw from anywhere within the car. The lights behind the radio burnt out while in his possession. He and I both agreed it was best to not replace them as there is no battery draw coming from it at this time. It seems there may have been some kind of trip that caused the lights to stay on. Something that he can't answer but seems to have remedied itself. With my racecar now safely tucked away from Mr. Salt LOL I won't be doing anything with the TL until April. I'm going to install the lights again (with a new Relay from Diode Dynamics) then and take it to my mechanic again to test for any error codes or battery draws. If it's all good to go, I'll keep driving it till it dies!
